Abstract: Change of a photon frequency in a constant gravitational field is examined. On the basis of Einstein’s equation a principle of the gravitational waves occurrence is investigated. The quantum form of an energy-impulse tensor is submitted. Einstein’s equation for gravitons is found. It is shown that the solution of this equation for the certain direction represents the sum of a gravitational wave and graviton. It is shown that at approach of graviton to the massive cosmic body radiating gravitational waves there is a resonant pumping of this body energy through gravitational waves in the graviton. It enables for registration of gravitons with the help of the detector which is taking place near to a massive body.

Abstract: By treating time as an independent variable free of space-time the role of time in cosmic expansion is clarified. We show that this treatment of time is consistent with General Relativity, and addresses the quandaries of dark or vacuum energy. We consider the current of time to be composed of many time waves. As the current flows, the number of its waves keeps increasing. It is shown that the cumulative sum of the periods of these waves represents the stretching-time, the redshift, Z represents the stretching velocity, and the quantity Z2/t represents the stretching acceleration of the stretching-time. By isolating time from space-time we find a simple equation which is developed based only on time and its kinematics. The validity of this equation is confirmed first through the conformity of its predictions with Einstein’s three predictions, namely the precession of Mercury’s orbit, the bending of light by the sun’s gravity, and the gravitational time dilation. Second, its validity is further confirmed through its consistency with three different sets of observational data as well as with the recent LIGO/Virgo gravitational waves measurement. It is shown that the flow of stretching-time is propelled by the energy released at the big bang. Further, the Hubble constant is estimated analytically. Also a possible source and the quantity of what is called dark energy are identified. It is concluded that the time model may clear the way to a quantum mechanical description of the cosmos.

Abstract: The influence of BaO content on the optical properties such as energy gap, refractive index, optical basicity, molar and oxide ion polarizability, molar refraction and third order nonlinear susceptibility have been studied theoretically in [0.7 TeO2 (0.3-x) B2O3 x BaO] (x =0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 mole%) and analyzed the parameters related to these compositions with theoretical predictions. The mass attenuation coefficients of glass system have been calculated at different energies. The theoretical results indicate that a decrease of the mass attenuation coefficient with increasing of gamma-ray energies and that glass in the present study may be developed as radiation shielding material and new nonlinear optical materials.

Abstract: The discovery of quasars is one of the four great discoveries of astronomy in 1960s. Although the discovery of quasars is very interesting, but it has also brought some difficult problems for human being: are quasars stars or galaxies? Why the luminosity of the most powerful quasars is thousands of times greater than the luminosity of a large galaxy such as the Milky Way whose size is larger than the quasars by millions of times? Why the observed quasars are distant objects? If the redshift of a quasar is cosmic redshift? These problems have long plagued the people in suspense. Fortunately, the author of this paper, through studying the formation and orbit-variation of satellites, planets and stars, has put forward a new theory of galactic structure, therefore revealing the hierarchical structure of galaxies and the existence and characteristics of black holes as the main nodes of galactic structure, especially revealing the formation and essence of quasars and solving all the problems mentioned above. The author found that quasar is essentially a supermassive black hole covered by an extreme thick and dense atmosphere. When such a black hole revolves around its progenitor and whirls on its axis fast, lots of cloud clumps would bump each other to cause immense electricity and thunder, forming strong radio source and high luminosity. The mass of the ancestral quasar billions of light years away from the earth is about 1000 times the total mass of the entire Milky Way galaxy, so its energy output would be 1000 times more than the energy released by the entire Milky Way galaxy. Since a quasar revolves around its progenitor and whirls on its axis fast, therefore the redshift of a quasar is indeed cosmic redshift.
